NorthgateArinso has announced the launch of a new division specialising in automotive solutions. The division will be run by Andrew Leech, whose previous roles include a nine year spell at fleet software specialist CFC Solutions, latterly running the company for Pendragon Motor Group, the company’s parent.

Leech said: “The automotive market has changed beyond recognition over the last ten years. The modern fleet decision maker is more likely to be a manager in HR or procurement than a fleet specialist and this has led to a greater demand for fleet tools within HR systems. This is a logical step for the market as the HR function already manages benefit payments, expense claims and other policies and procedures affecting fleet. This new development means, amongst other things, that they can now do this from one single solution without sacrificing any functionality. In addition, customers can feel reassured by trusting their business to an organisation which specialises in IT and employs huge resources in these areas, as opposed to many of the current suppliers who not only run limited development teams but who also lack the financial resources to fully support customers in the current tough economic conditions.”

NorthgateArinso has long been involved in both HR and automotive solutions – one in three payslips issued in the UK is issued from a Northgate system. But what is less well known is the company’s automotive pedigree with companies such as Ford and Daimler using our solutions in the UK and overseas.

Andrew Leech continues, “This new division will focus on automotive products, both as an addition to our existing applications and as stand-alone systems. The real strength of NorthgateArinso is the technology we use, which means we build system workflow around customers’ processes, rather than asking them to compromise.”

“I believe that we are uniquely placed to not just deliver standard solutions to public and private sector fleets, but to deliver truly bespoke solutions to run the entire business of any automotive company, whether a manufacturer or fleet service provider. I don’t believe any other company in the marketplace has the kind of scale, resource and rapid development skillset that we can bring to bear on a project and I think this will be an exciting time for all in the automotive industry, where software has sometimes restricted business rather than enabled it.”

The division will have an online presence through www.mycompanyfleet.co.uk and a sales, support and implementation presence throughout Europe initially, although NorthgateArinso has offices in 32 countries across the globe. For more information please contact marketing@mycompanyfleet.co.uk.
