Great first year for Mycompanyfleet

It has been a great first year for fleet software solutions provider, Mycompanyfleet, which has seen a number of key business wins, the signing up of around 100 fleet customers and a wealth of new product launches aimed at improving efficiencies for those working in the fleet industry.

Underlining Mycompanyfleet’s ability to provide bespoke solutions for major motor manufacturers, leasing companies and other suppliers, earlier this year Kwik-Fit Fleet selected a bespoke version of Mycompanyfleet’s YourAcumen Customer Relationship Management system to help enhance driver support services to its fleet customers. andrew leech

Kwik-Fit Fleet provides call centre-backed driver support services to the majority of the UK’s leading contract hire and leasing companies, and the new software solution co-ordinates driver bookings through the new Service24 proposition for vehicle servicing, glass replacement, breakdown assistance and vehicle recovery for all leasing customers.

The new solution also streamlines processes and provides greater reporting capabilities than the system it replaced, as well as providing mapping facilities for the entire Kwik-Fit Fleet centre network.

Simon Lucas, Kwik-Fit Fleet operations director, said:”We felt that the Mycompanyfleet solution was the perfect fit for us and the ideal solution to help provide enhanced driver support services to our major corporate customers.”

Mycompanyfleet operates on a pan European basis, and in the summer the company announced the signing of a contract with Portuguese fleet management provider, Boxer, to fully automate its service offering to fleet customers in Portugal.

The Boxer directors turned to the UK in their search for the ideal software system, and reviewed several on the market before selecting the FleetAcumen solution from Mycompanyfleet.

“As a new company ourselves, we wanted to work with the very latest and most recent state of the art technology partner,” said managing director Rui Pinto. “Mycompanyfleet offered everything we were looking for with FleetAcumen.”

The FleetAcumen solution is aimed at larger, commercial fleets, leasing companies and fleet service providers of whatever nationality. It has a multi-lingual functionality with up to 20 different foreign languages and is language intuitive, switching seamlessly to the host language when it recognises the country of origin.

Mycompanyfleet has now signed up over 100 fleet customers of all sizes in its first year of operation, and has several major orders in the pipeline, with further announcements expected shortly.

New product launches

During the year Mycompanyfleet has launched an impressive stream of new products, but perhaps none more so than its new driver portal, Driver Self-Serve, which tackles the problems posed by grey fleets.

With grey fleet drivers who use their own cars on company business, verifying vehicle condition, servicing and business mileage is a constant battle for fleet managers.

The Driver Self-Serve portal effectively tackles this problem. Drivers, both grey fleet and company drivers, must log on to enter their current business mileages and make their mileage expenses claims, signing an agreement that they have had their vehicle serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s approved service schedule, or with the company’s own bespoke servicing schedule.

If drivers fail to update their details, they will be unsuccessful in their mileage expenses claim, which acts as a major incentive for them to keep records accurate and up-to-date. They are also automatically flagged up in an exception report to the fleet manager.

Used in this way, the system provides the fleet manager with a confirmation that a service has taken place and a record of the date, in an easily visible audit trail that meets duty of care requirements.

Fuel Optimiser enables fleet managers to identify the most fuel competitive vehicles in the market by comparing and contrasting different models from all major motor manufacturers.

In development and nearing launch is a new solution that will allow fleets to calculate the carbon footprint of each journey their staff undertakes, be it by car, train or plane, and effectively choose the greenest option.

“It has been a great first year for us at Mycompanyfleet,” said business manager Andrew Leech.
“In many ways it has surpassed our highest expectations, with a number of key business wins, and a host of new product launches that have been very well received by fleet operators both here and in Europe.”
