Mycompanyfleet launches new chauffeur module

Fleet solutions provider Mycompanyfleet has launched a new ‘movement module’  as the latest addition to  its acclaimed FleetAcumen fleet software system,  which provides executive chauffeur fleets, specialist rental and taxi firms with more effective route mapping and driver and vehicle allocation planning.

The new module is ideal for companies which need to allocate the appropriate driver and vehicle to transport executives or other personnel to the correct location in a timely and efficient manner.

It allows more efficient route scheduling and allocation of drivers, and interfaces with modern telematics systems to ensure complete capture of all relevant data from that particular journey, including vehicle speeds, route taken, length of journey and miles covered.

Integrated PDAs allow drivers to record when jobs are completed as well as allowing messaging and next-job scheduling.

The new module was initially developed for the efficient and scheduled transportation of company executives in the Middle East but has now been adapted for the home market.

“This latest addition to FleetAcumen will allow the more efficient scheduling and planning of customer journeys for chauffeur firms, or indeed for any firm where the main activity is the transportation of human cargo,” said Andrew Leech, business manager at Mycompanyfleet.

The FleetAcumen solution from Mycompanyfleet is aimed at larger, commercial fleets, leasing companies and fleet service providers of whatever nationality. It has a multi-lingual functionality and can be used in up to 20 different foreign languages.

FleetAcumen uses exception reporting methodology to highlight areas of the business that require management attention within a dynamic and highly visual dashboard environment.

It is designed to integrate with other applications and supplier systems across national boundaries, and provides an unrivalled level of analysis and reporting similar to that of its sister application, FleetHR.
