Portuguese fleet management provider Boxer has selected Mycompanyfleet’s FleetAcumen fleet software system to fully automate its service offering to fleet customers in Portugal, following a review of the leading software systems in the UK.
Boxer, an independent new start-up, was launched earlier this year by Rui Pinto and Luis Carajote, both fleet professionals with long fleet experience, to provide support and consultancy services to major fleet customers, including Portuguese leasing companies and major corporate fleets.
These services range from total outsourcing of the fleet to individual tasks such as car preparation, refurbishment and logistical support, as well as consultancy services through a separate consultancy arm.
But to fully automate and manage the services they wanted to provide, Boxer needed a state-of the art fleet software solution that was not only reliable but capable of handling the multi-faceted requirements of modern fleet management.
The directors turned to the UK in their search for the ideal system, and reviewed several on the market before selecting the FleetAcumen solution from Mycompanyfleet.
“As a new company ourselves, we wanted to work with the very latest and most recent state of the art technology partner,” said managing director Rui Pinto. “Mycompanyfleet offered everything we were looking for with FleetAcumen.
“We wanted a solution that was not only capable of being delivered over the internet, as many of our own services are web-delivered, but was very modern and capable of fully automating and managing all the complexities of modern fleet management.
“After a number of presentations and demonstration, we arrived at a final shortlist of two systems, and selected FleetAcumen as the best all round solution,” he said.
The FleetAcumen solution from Mycompanyfleet is aimed at larger, commercial fleets, leasing companies and fleet service providers of whatever nationality. It has a multi-lingual functionality with up to 20 different foreign languages and is language intuitive, switching seamlessly to the host language when it recognises the country of origin.
FleetAcumen uses exception reporting methodology to highlight areas of the business that require management attention. It is designed to integrate with other applications and supplier systems across national boundaries, and provides an unrivalled level of analysis and reporting similar to that of its sister application, FleetHR.
